i liked the oompa loompa songs from the newer version. possibly, because danny elfman wrote the musical scores and stuff

No more Oompa Loompa meat on our dinner table; after what's left in the fridge has been consumed: we'll never purchase another ounce of it.

In the original Roald Dahl book, Oompa Loompas were actually black with blonde hair.

The director of the original 1971 movie thought it would be racist if the oompa loompas were this colour and hair.
