Has anyone ever accused you of making a strange noise?

I make sounds sometimes when I'm just letting my mind drift. When my daughter was a baby, I was thinking about her while I was at work and my coworker asked me why I was making babbling noises. I didn't even realise I was doing it.

And when I was little I used to make weird, silly, rhythmic sounds in the car on the way to day care that drove my mom nuts and sing along with the windshield wipers and click along with the turn signals.

I like making suction noises imitative of somebody pulling a plunger or piston out of a cylinder. I guess that qualifies as a stim.
