Do dishwashers have power cords?

Since you're discussing dishwashers, does anyone know why on Earth you need to have a garbage disposal for the dishwasher?

This video answers your question. Sometimes they are plugged into an electrical outlet, but 90% of the time they are direct wired.

Him I know this is an old topic, but I'm replying because it came up in Google results and just removed my dishwasher today.

Mine has a power plug, but it's plug in underneath the counter somewhere, underneath the floor of the cupboard beside it somewhere.

I have a picture which I will post in a bit.
