And why the f**k would I even care about some fashion designer?

agreed some joker was selling some branded clothing some 80's looking thing (it's high fashion these days :roll: ) for $399 it looked like a Katies thing for $79.95 (does that girly store still exist :?

Pretty sure it still exists.
If I pay $399 dollars for an item of clothing it had damn well better come with a musical instrument.

^^^

the most I spent on a shirt (only cause it had a bicycle on it :D) was $50 and it turned out to be worse and less long lasting than the $13 Lowes shirt :wink: . Though to be fair the expensive Billabong shirts in the day (1980's early 90's) where quite awesome until they moved to China .....

I'll stick to Lowes if only they had bicycle shirts Jay Jays used to have video game shirts sadly allways the crappy Mario ones sadly .

speaking of English people is it true they think Jamie Oliver is a w*ker ? if it is well I wont think so lowly of this nation perhaps it's gone up from a 3/10 to 4/10

France= 8.5/10.

My homeland Switzerland= 9/10

Australia can range from a 3 (if you have the displeasure of taking public transport) to a 9 on a good day.

i'm terrible at remembering celebrity names joe90, i often try to say someone is in a movie...but i cannot ever remember the name or rather rarely.

part of it is, i am opposed to the celebrity worship....
but another part is simply i don't often put names to faces until something signifigant has happened involving a person that i can link the name to a face....

i might even remember a name fairly well but cannot put a face to the name

I love Pendleton wool shirts. I think they run about $100 each these days. I bought a number of them thirty years ago when they were about $45 each. They last a really long time if you have them dry cleaned rather than washed.

(Thread moved from Autism discussion to Random)

Those of us with autism / aspergers have quite a reputation for memorising useless information, some of the information people try to memorise being more useless than others. :wink:

That's my main problem- Keeping up to date with the media. I have trouble remembering the stars names. I go along with it. The other people in my family know everything about it. I have the names and the faces but I don't know everything, the only way I can keep up constantly if my dream comes true I suddenly turn into my dream person or if someone in my family becomes a singer or actor or hanging out with the people and still being able to act it out.

When I was younger, I had an extreme case of "celebrity worship." Thankfully, I eventually grew out of it with the help of my sister, who HATES all celebrities, regardless of their profession or background.
