Assuming the cost of the trip was free I might would depending on if my girlfriend would go with me & if I thought we could handle the ride there & back without too much stress or physical problems.

Currently, I think that it is too risky, so I'd say no. I'd rather not suffer radiation sickness and muscle degeneration. Once, or I should say if, we improve our technology a bit more, then I'd give it more consideration!

It would mean I'd be gone for years (and that's assuming nothing goes wrong), I'd be exposed to radiation and suffer muscle degeneration, living conditions would be tough, I'd be totally isolated for the duration of the trip, and I have no particular desire to go to Mars. No thanks!
If I wanna see Mars NASA pics suffice just fine.
