1900, wish my place was built later like in the 1960s or something.

Sometime in the '60s.

1910, 1920? Lots of oak...petrified oak.

My house was built in 1958.

Either 1907 or 1908. It was built after the earthquake and fire destroyed most of San Francisco.

We can take it back as far as the 1860's, I don't have any maps older. Rumor has it, that it is the second house in the county to have been made with a frame. The style they used to make it is called "plank". Major pain to remodel, as they had no shortage of wood. What they might use as a beam now, would be a twig in comparison to what they used in this place. My area of the world wasn't settled till about the late 1700's. However I have a Native American site in my back yard that would go about 1000bc, does that count?

My past house was built on 1991. On december 4, 2006, I moved to a new house, my father began planning the construction 4 years ago, and last year was finished.

Older houses definately. I go into houses that are in the constructionprocess daily, and the build quality that you see in older houses is not present in new construction. New construction may have people who are as skilled in the construction process, asthey were in older houses, however the quality of the materials used in new construction is horrible.

The house that I live in was built in the early 20th century. My mom's house is perhaps 150 years old.

My house was built in 1941 but we completely overhauled it a couple years ago. I prefer much older homes and am in the construction business and enjoy it when I get to work on them they are much more interesting than new ones especially when you are trying to keep the old house's character

My house was built in the 60's I think.
Shoddy job done too, till we did a shoddy renovation job in 1994 . Now there's a couple of thousand $ worth of water damage in one of our inside walls.
