I don't know,I'm only familiar with mantras in Tibetan. It very well could be a mantra in another language.

I'm told it is from Sanskrit via Shinto.

It does sound more Japanese than the Tibetan mantras.

Dunno, for me it would be somewhere where there are no memories, no conscience, no people, not anything of this world, just pure silence and peace. Maybe Nirvana

:D sounds like what you are describing, is outer darkness. for some people that is hell but for others it is just what the good doctor ordered.

I don't know but if it does exist I hope everyone obeys road traffic laws and there are no queues at the supermarket checkouts.

Lol exactly! :) Doctor would definitely prescribe me that. Anyhow, forgot to add: no desires, no regrets, not even hopes or dreams, just pure silence and void.

No driving and no food? My two favourite pastimes - oh well.

of course there will be cars and driving, just no NEED for them, there will also be plentiful food [at least in the lower levels of heaven] to meet any appetite. there was this movie called "the adding machine" that depicted a heaven with free food all over the place.

I also hope it conforms with current disabled access legislation, this picture doesn't look too promising. :?

still image from "a matter of life and death" - a movie I took some issue with, like why on earth did they film the heaven scenes in murky monochrome? it was the EARTH scenes that should have been in murky colors compared to heaven's day-glow hues. a better heaven movie might be "what dreams may come" or "the adding machine" or "made in heaven." "saving your life" was another good one. btw those stair you see in the still image were an escalator.

I'll look out for those other films, I did like Legend although Tim Curry was slightly scary.

if "a matter of life and death" were to be remade, tim curry should play marius goring's part, that of "conductor 71."

That looks more like Hell.Escalators and no green.ugh.Is it a mall?Maybe to most Americans that would be heaven. To be trapped forever in a mall sounds like the very lowest and most awful realm of hell.
