You're right. My custom rank is gone. It's kind of bright as well. I think some threads are missing or something. Still some bugs to work out?

To read a post of mine made by my white text, you'll have to select it. I need a new color. Maybe a blu-ish kind?

I like how the forum is a lot faster now the layout might take a while to get used too, but after awhile we might not even notice.

In all fairness though, I never had a problem with the old site. I could never understand what people were on about with the captcha thingy. Oh well...

I haven't seen one of those stupid errors when I post, either. Has that finally been fixed?

The colour's definitely something to get used to, but I like how View Posts Since Last Visit is visible in whatever thread you're browsing and that everything loads so much faster now.

I'm getting used to the new colors.


Since Chrome themes came up, I've been using Splendid since I got Chrome.

I miss the custom titles too. I think WP needs an Honorary Chelonian.


Babybird, consider yourself lucky. Getting the captchas and be told people you tried to PM didn't exist etc was a real pain.

I do consider myself lucky....I believe the problems were the main cause for people jumping ship.

I did hear tell of these issues for over a year but somehow the problems seemed to swerve past me.

I miss having a custom rank, too. I enjoy being a sassy familiar spirit.

Also, I've noticed some of the smaller avatars are now bigger.

Other than that, the new layout is okay. At least I don't have to worry about captchas anymore, even though I don't get them as often.

It definitely looks more professional now than before, which looked like a home-made website from early 2008, when things still were amateurish. Though, this new layout is too bright and looks like as if it's mobile-settled, like, it doesn't look like a desktop version unlike the older layout.

It looks pretty decent but I kinda missed the blue and green background but other than that, it is fairly good.

So everyone wants the outdated, clunky, unresponsive and obnoxiously slow layout back?

Common guys...

As long as the next time that this site needs an update to coding, and hopefully it won't take years to do. I'm fine with the looks of the site.

The huge avatars on top of posts is going to take an adjustment and a lot of scrolling. More visual divisions would be nice also.

Critiquing aside, I'm glad the software has been updated.

On top? It's next to the posts, as it always were.

Two things I'm very happy about so far is the avatar size and something I just noticed now: we can finally delete posts in Random! I never understood why we couldn't before, when we could everywhere but in Random and the Haven.
