When I was just out of school I remember a total stranger telling me that I was shopping like someone of the opposite gender 8O FWIW he was a guy.

While I never enjoyed shopping, I guess this makes me a feminine shopper then.

Women are too indecisive (most women) and will take hours to buy something that I think should take 10-15 minutes. I am picky too, about everything, but when I go shopping I know exactly what I am there for, and usually exactly where it is at. I don't need to try anything on, or try anything out. I don't do impulse buying. Most women, I think, enjoy shopping. I don't.

MEN: With Internet shopping, no need to even go to the shops now!

WOMEN: Find something you want to buy, but don't buy it just yet, search around every other single shop in the city just in case there is something you want to buy even more, then return to the first shop just before closing time to buy it anyway.

Some things I can buy online, some things I need to touch and look at with my own eyes. Books and music I buy online. Incense I buy online. Even computers and computer accessories online. Shoes online, but definitely not clothes. I don't need to try clothes on, but I have to touch and look for specific features, even smell sometimes. Some things metallic or plastic, for some odd reason, I need to taste, put my tongue on.

I'm a guy and I've gone shopping with my mom a few times over holiday break, "just to grab a few things."

An hour later and we're not done with the list cuz she's all like "oh my gosh, (dragonzatch), look at this! It's a penguin soap dispenser!"

"...that's not even close to what's on the list, we need cereal-"

"But it's SOOO CUTE! Ooh, we should get a candle for the bathroom while we're in here. Some towels too!"

^ Sounds like fun. I'm like your mum (I'm a guy). I'm not into cute things but I'm into delicious-looking things and useful-looking things. Whenever my mum goes to a supermarket, I go with her.
