I predict that the results of the new horizons space probe will be underwhelming.

I predict there will be more governmental gridlock in DC and that a quasi-intifada movement will take root here also.

I predict that Janet Yellen and the rest of her crew at the US Federal Reserve will come up with more excuses not to restore interest rates to normal levels.

....and that at least one more piece of research will show that smoking causes some hitherto unimagined dreadful consequence, such as making your head fall off.

I predict that no smoker's head will fall off this year.

Also I agree that the U.S. will experience more cohesive demand for equality than has been seen in recent years. With any luck free-agent technomancers such as myself will be needed.

I predict oil prices will begin to slowly climb back up in price

I predict there will be more automotive recalls.

The Earth will continue spinning, the wind will keep on blowing and world peace will still be a distant dream. We will also likely see a lot more interesting health related technology, particularly in the wearable's field
