18th Century England.

I'd get published and be right up there with Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, and the Bronte sisters...

Ahh...the sexist reviews...

Greece in ancient times or Greece in modern times.

OOH, and if we were allowed two trips, I'd take Starbuline to Russia with me and she could be my tour guide since she's Miss Russia!

In the 80's in the Soviet Union, during glasnost. I'm a marxist so I think i'd have liked the U.S.S.R., just not some of the authoritarian government officials. I think that there constitution was the bomb though. :D Also the 80's would be a better time for neuro-diverse people like me. Unlike the 50's- 60's and before, where I could end up like Icy Sparks, and be placed in a mental institution. So I wouldn't want to go too far back in time. Especialy not during the middle ages, and through out the renaisance, when I could be burned alive for supposed witchcraft. Prague spring, in Czechoslavokia, would have been nice to have experienced. To bad it got crushed by soviet tanks. :x Hmm I wonder what life was like for aspies and or touretters in the soviet bloc nations. Maybe Starbuline would know.

New York, New York. In 1953.

Why? Because, Look at how sexy that style was!

And the cars! They will never make any cars as cool as the ones in the 1950s!

Maenads were female worshippers of Dionysus, the Greek god of mystery, wine and intoxication, and the Roman god Bacchus. The word literally translates as "raving ones". They were known as wild, insane women who could not be reasoned with

Medieval Times. That way I could bend the world to my liking. Medieval steam airships!! ! How much more advanced the world would be if we had airships and steam power then. With airships, I could add rockets, bombs, and cannons to them, making them very powerful indeed. Hehe, I prefer medieval times for things like that. Hmmm, could do with flamethrowers, advanced armour, crossbow snipers, and gunners for my forces as well, not to mention rocket troops, mortarmen, and demo troopers.... *drones on for ages*

Maenads-- wild women followers of the cult of Dionysus-- are holding one of their intoxicated, wild celebrations. They notice Orpheus and invite him to join in their dance, but his grief is all consuming, and he doesn’t notice them. Enraged, they descend on him like the Furies. They dismember and behead him, throwing his parts into the river. The last image of Orpheus is his severed head, floating in the river, still crying the name of his beloved Eurydice.

Doesn't do to p*ss them off then :P

I'm debating with myself whether or not to comment about the bit in wikipedia where is says they indulge in copious amounts of sexual activity.

I wouldn't want to piss you off. :D
