I'm in the Pacific Northwest. We didn't even get snow, only rain. And no offense to those who live in the regions affected, I'm not even mad. The rain never bothered me anyway.

I'm no fan of snow but it's the icy roads I'm really fed up with. I hate icy roads. Both ice and hard stomped snow makes it easy to slip, and I fall every winter. I dread old age and brittle bones.

Perhaps you should move to England. If I recollect correctly, a few years ago the IPCC claimed that snow was becoming increasingly rare and would soon be a thing of the past. Since the IPCC is never wrong, any reports of snow in England these days are clearly just propaganda put out by the anti-Global Warming side.

Not yet, I wanna have more snow! It doesn't snow very often in Nashville, so I'm always looking forward to when that happens. But yeah, I would agree that it is not fun to travel in. Even if there isn't ice on the road-- l are flurries-- people still go really really slowly. It's very slow to get places.

 Yeah, luckily I have "never" seen news here in Norway mentioning snow creating chaos in England. There is no snow in England. There is only rain. That's a fact.

There was a "Top Gear" show where they converted a combine to a snow removal machine. They had to take it to Norway to test it.

I never seen real snow in my entire life.

But I imagine myself of not surviving a single season of snow. :( I may or may not get sick on the view, but I barely appreciate cold in general.

I'm not sure I can take much more of it. The snowbanks are covered in dirt and the sidewalks impassable in places. I just had to help a blind woman and her seeing eye dog. She was trying to cross at a main intersection with crossing lights, but there's so much snow piled up from the roads that the crosswalk was blocked. She was trying to climb the snowbank and almost fell into the road, so I asked her if I could help and she was accepting and grateful.
So yeah, snow's pretty but it's also hazardous and I really get sick of the romanticization of it. The snow, ice, cold air - it's dangerous and I want it to stop.
Yesterday it was -29 with the wind chill. It's not right.

I don't mind the snow too much, but right now I need a break from it, we are running out of room to shovel it to.

The snow is gone, kind of weird when its summer weather out and everything is dead as far as plant life because it's still winter.

Yesterday we got additional 15cms of snow within a few hours (snowstorm) so I fought with my cousin using snowballs afterwards because fresh snow is really nice for that.
Today I got runny nose and throat pain.

So I ended up sick of snow - literally.
