No. I used to do a lot of second-hand smoking from the people all around me even as a little girl, and that was bad enough.

My dad started smoking when he was only 9. The past few years he's been getting sick a lot with all kinds of lung problems. He finally managed to quit and is doing a lot better. :)

out of curiosity, i bought a pack and smoked one cigarette every saturday for twenty weeks. it did nothing for or to me. i would never smoke regularly, as i lost an aunt and uncle to lung cancer, an uncle to COPD, and an uncle to premature heart disease. when i was a kid, my mom told me she used to be able to swim across the river, but smoking had taken the wind necessary for that from her. she also drew a puff in and exhaled into a towel, showing me the yellow tar that resulted. so i had plenty of reasons to eschew tobacco.

No, but for years I've always intended to smoke one on National No Smoking Day, but I've never even managed to find out what date that is.

No, and I've never had any desire to try it. Both of my grandmothers died from diseases caused by smoking, and besides that, the smell irritates my nose.

yes.

i keep a pack for those special moments. like when the only socially acceptable way to go outside and be alone is if you're having a cigarette. or if the only acceptable way to have a break outdoors during regular work hours is if you take a cigarette break. I don't smoke often though and a pack usually lasts me 1-2 months depending on how many I bum out. sometimes I just sit there with the cigarette in my fingers and let it burn down.

Nope I've personally seen what smoking does to the lungs. I want no part of that mess.

My thoughts exactly.

When I was 15 I wondered what the whole fuss was about so I bought a pack of True Blue from a gas station. I smoked it and felt absolutely nothing. I smoked another one thinking I missed something, but still, I felt nothing. So I gave them away. I never smoked cigarettes again.

No, I've never smoked and I have no desire to smoke. When I was little, I was given this book about drugs, and it showed a bunch of different substances and their side effects. All I thought of the book at the time was that it was interesting, but now that I'm older, I've realized that the book had a profound impact on me staying away from tobacco and anything else like that.

Nope. My grandparents were both smokers (My grandfather developed lung cancer and had to have his leg removed due to poor circulation) and my dad is an occasional smoker but my mother and I are both allergic to cigarette smoke.
