I think you should ask him. Maybe a PM ... ?

It was in relation to Fnords comment about favoritism. I guess that's why they call it "brown" nosing :eew:

I get along aLOT better with other members here than on other forums I used regularly but I have been bullied before on here & was accused of being a misogynist for a while but that was over 4 years ago.

Yes, I was bullied by a member who has since left.
Or maybe she was banned, I can't remember.
She attacked my posts, called me names and sent me a few PMs to make sure I understood just how f****d up I was.
I never even thought to report her.
She bullied quite a few other members too.

But then, I myself have been reported and warned for a personal attack on a member.
So I guess I'm a bully too.

I find it odd that I've never been the target of our recurring troll Katee. Maybe that's just because I never make generalized comments on the nature of women and dating.

Yes, I once made a depressed and suicidal post in The Haven, and another poster responded by posting a photo of a starving child, her way of telling me that I had no right to feel depressed and suicidal.

I tend to be a little obtuse and don't realize someone is belittling me or picking on me unless it's extremely obvious. Usually i think i did something wrong and apologize for something i didn't need to. Or try to make the person smile or laugh to help the situation. I have sometimes earned respect for being able to laugh at myself when i would have been looked down on otherwise. It doesn't always work, but sometimes it does. So if i've been bullied i probably didnt' realize it or tried to use humor to diffuse it.

I think people are people, whether you are NT or aspie. There will always be cliques, bullies, and people who take the bait and get mad. And others who will live and let live. The beauty of the internet is that you can ignore the meanies. Or just turn off the computer. :)

If anybody attacks me on here I don't think twice about reporting them. I understand that people can be horrible on the internet, but I will not tolerate being attacked on a forum that is supposed to provide help and support for people like me, and I don't think anyone else should have to either. When someone attacks you, hit the report button immediately (or go to this thread, or PM a mod. And, a tip: make sure you quote the attack or make a screenshot of it for proof).

Even though I have been a member for 9 years, people here on WP enjoy targeting me for their own amusement.

How do people target you? I've seen some members get a little testy or overbearing in their opinion, but I haven't seen patterns of targeting.

Maybe because I haven't been around for very long yet?

It would be helpful to know some of the signs, though.

All right, sir....it does have something to do with the topic.

People who are seen as "kissing butt" tend to be bullied.

Just because you are "nice," you are seen as being a butt-kisser. You are thought of as somebody who would compliment somebody to gain a favor or something.

I just wanted to emphasize that, even though I might compliment people sincerely, that I'm NOT a butt-kisser.
