I took control of a service call and told the lady I had exhausted my resources and had no more help for her.
it was a 4 hour call and she actually shut up long enough to hear what I had to say, cause I didn't say a word after that but "thank you and good afternoon.'

I went to a jobsite (residential construction) where the initial contractor (I had nuttinto do wit it as I wasn't involved yet) had made a mess. There I was consultant for the owner/builder at an onsite meeting with the rep. from the licensing board.

Like George Costanze, I pretend to be an architect. Unlike him, I pretend so well that my buildings go up- and atay up.

drove my Dodge 4-4 truck there. If that ain't manly enough - I aso wore my leather jacket.
