the problem with baths is that in order to rinse the soapy scummy wash products off of you, you have to get up with a bucket of fresh water and pour it over you a few times, scrubbing as you go. so i prefer to shower as it combines everything into one activity.

Showers give me weird, unpleasant, skin-crawling sensations, so showers are out.
I don't often bathe either - about once or twice a month.

if you don't mind, how do you avoid body aroma with that arrangement?

I never take baths, and the thought of taking one just seems unnatural for some reason. Then again, so does standing in the tub whenever working on the faucets or showerhead. Not sure why that is, as I used to be fine with baths when I was younger. It's odd because way back then, I was fine with a bath and had trouble with showering. That more than anything was due to an incident when I was little though; when I like 5 I think, one time I went to turn off the water after finishing up my shower, and the showerhead suddenly started throwing out smoke, which scared the crap out of me, and until I was around 10 or so, I never dared mess with the faucets. What had happened is that the shower head was electric for the purpose of instantly heating the water (the concept of a water heater didn't really exist in the country I lived in, or if it did, it didn't exist for the common folk), and I guess just as I was turning it off, something must've broken in it.

that reminds me of an American serviceman in Afghanistan, whose haliburton subsidiary [KBR] shower stall electrocuted him.

^ In Australia, some of the older houses had kerosene showers that you actually had to light with a match.
A man who lived near us burnt to death when the plastic shower curtain he was using caught on fire and stuck to his skin.

:? Another reason not to shower.
What a horrible way to die.

luckily, my shower stall has neither electricity nor fire. if I don't shower every daggone day, I reek with more alacrity than most folks. :eew:
