I never heard that you're not supposed to wear shorts in the rain before. I for one would hate getting wet in the rain while wearing shorts. It's bad enough having to wear them when it's sunny. Wet shorts will itch, ride up between my legs, drip water down between my legs so it looks like I peed myself, and be excruciatingly uncomfortable as I walk and feel my clammy, fleshy thighs rubbing against each other, and sometimes they chafe. :eew:

A little dampness is tolerable, but at this time of year where I live a light drizzle can turn into a huge downpour in less than a minute.

I am actually hypersensitive to the cold, so nearly all winter and part of spring I am wearing gloves, scarf, coat and hat, unless it's mild. People don't like that either.

But yeah, people make a big deal of it if I want to wear shorts on a rainy day. I will never know why.

I am hypersensitive to heat and humidity, and when other people complain about how cold it is I want to punch them. And then when they complain about being too hot I want to punch them again because they spent the rest of the year complaining about it being too cold.

If I could get away with it legally there would be a lot of punched people in this society.
