That's nice, I briefly volunteered at an animal shelter too; it's since closed down. They kept geese and Jesus! I thought humans could be bullies. :D

My hobbies I would have to be anything at the moment as a aspy hobbies seem to be my focus at the time don't know why just the way my brain functions . My passions have to be history, Harry Potter all time favorite novels, gaming as Hobby gaming started with war hammer 40,000, Call of Cthulhu based HP love craft, graphic tshirts, Kylo Ren from Star Wars seem to relate to him the most maybe my music style metal core. I own hundreds of board games that are harder to play for most not interested. History anything to do with history I'm a history nerd everyone I know tells me to go and be a teacher but don't know if I would like the social part of it. I've enjoyed song writing and singing one of my favorite past time. I am obsessed with what I am when I thought I was more Irish because of my last name that was my obsession until I did the background DNA check on ancestry and found out I was only 12% Irish and 68% British so you can see someone with my obsession now turn to liking British things which I already liked with fantasy stories,40k,history and literature in it's self.

Another 40k fan! Somewhat obsessed with the Horus Heresy series, here. :D

Yeah been a fan for years now. Favorite race:Eldar and I would have to say of what I've read favorite series Eisenhorn

I collect odd things. I have a lump of fake skin I collected from a dermatology drug rep in the hospital I used to work in. I have an audio cassette with "the sounds of mental illness" I got from a psych drug rep. I have a recording on CD of a musician named major "mule" holley, who was a basso profundo singer who also could sing in concert pitch all the way down to the low E string on his string bass. I collect recordings of theatrical pipe organs. also collect recordings of jazz harp, and have a small collection of different versions of the 1812 overture. I have thousands of recordings on mp3, tape, phonograph record and CD. I also have a fairly advanced avocation, that of digital audio restoration of old tape and phonograph recordings.

My favourite race is probably the Necrons. Not a fan of their new codex, though. Anything by Dan Abnett is gold in my eyes - avidly followed the Eisenhorn and Ravenor trilogies. It's really a shame that there's some kind of spanner in the works for his Pariah trilogy, but I suppose there must be an insane amount of pressure on him to wrap up the whole story in less than 2 novels. ^^

Haha yep. The owners honestly would have needed divine aid to properly manage those murderous avians. It's a wonder I didn't develop severe Anatidaephobia. :D

As long as I've liked 40k the armies I've played would be Space marine Black Templars/DaemonHunters,Necrons 4ed, and Eldar Alaitoc. I started liking it since I was 15 so for twelve years it has been my favorite scfi and I've spent lots of time and money on it. I've also played Wh40k conquest card game and Ive heard gw not going to support fantasy flight games anymore. I've bought into Dark Hersey when it came out with Black Library but never was able to find anyone to run a game of it. Yes and when it comes to novels Dan Abnett has the be my favorite in the 40k universe.

Over-the-years, some of my hobbies have included: fashion / fashion designing (I draw and sew designs that I've created), crocheting, stamp collecting, bowling, cooking / baking, reading, movies, collecting all sorts of stuff (like, monopoly games from around the world, purple things, 1950s/60s things [like Coca-cola stuff], mice [ceramic, fabric, etc.], refrigerator magnets, car replicas; anything, pretty much, with roses on it; Elvis / Princess Diana stuff; and, I can't remember what-all, else).

at the mo...
I train and teach Judo with adults and kids. Referee too. I also plan to do loads of research, as Judo is so hard to master... especially if you are a little smaller, a bit older, prone to stress/anxiety and do not have much upper body strength.

I go to the gym most days to exercise to cut stress. do workouts at the gym which include judo throws and floor to ceiling boxing workouts.

I play a bit of xbox one, and am also presently learning to program for websites, apps and embedded electronics.

My other main hobby although have not had much time to practice or record/write is music. Originally guitar kind of stuff but also dance music etc. (BA Degree in Sound Technology, which was focussed on sound engineering).

I also used to be really into art, originally went to art college but dropped out. I would like to get good at Adobe programs such as illustrator and convert my doodles into awesome illustrations / vectors. If i ever get the time.

When i was a kid, i spent most of my adolescence go-kart racing (100cc) and training in Kenpo karate (from 1984).
I am not sure if it was the best thing for me to do in hindsight, considering ASC, as i am now hypervigilant.
I did enjoy it at the time, and really took to karate, which i think is probably likely due to being on the spectrum. As i loved the routine, repetition and perfectionism. I read recently that a psychologist got a group of autistic people to practice karate form/kata/predetermined sequence of moves for several weeks to see if it helped the autism people reduce their problems with rocking and fidgeting.

And apparently it did, even for weeks after they stopped.

I like going to the pictures and going to the pub/clubs too.

Xbox one games into at mo:...
fallout 4
shadow warrior remake
Far Cry 4

good fun...
(i know i have written a lot here, but please keep in mind, i am not a show off, but just a bit older than most people on this forum so have had time to do more things).

There are so many different hobbies. It depends on the preferences. They like what they can do well and what they like to do. The hobby should bring the joy.
