If albums are speaking to you this is called a hallucination.

It's probably wise to see a GP.

A couple that really speak to me, figuratively of course:

No Room - The Samples
Life's Rich Pageant - R.E.M.

Umm, I don’t know about speaking, but the musical album I’ve probably listened to more than any other is “Let’s Go” from Rancid.

In my opinion it’s the best second generation punk album ever made. It starts with this and never lets up.

Oh yikes, yes! That reminds me of a dark and scary psychedelic experience I had in 1994 after seeing Pink Floyd live at Earl's Court. I've also had several very odd dreams in which that album featured.

I hope this isn't too odd a choice and I'll preface by saying I've listened to tons of albums. But, the one that still has an impact on me after all these years is Marianne Faithfuls' "Broken English". LP. I first saw her on SNL here in the US in the mid '70's I guess it was. I only read a few years ago the night before her live performance she was found passed out on the streets of NYC, heroin I think. She croaked out this song that just scraped me to the bone. To listen to it know like 30 years later, it sounds like it was made yesterday which to me is the mark of a great recording.
