Not really with the neck, unless I lay funny in my sleep. I do get migraines though.

do you think that might somehow be a carryover from the aforementioned lifetime?

I doubt it. I also have a ring around my neck but believe that to be a part of the aging process rather than a scar.

I don't have any memories of a past life. I can barely even remember my own childhood sometimes. I'm NOT saying it's not a real thing but I have no reason to treat it like it is until I have some kinda proof.

that is a good sign IMHO. I think it means a fresh start lifetime.
I believe my childhood aversion to water was a carryover from my drowning lifetime.

nobody has to reincarnate if they don't want to do so. you can stay in your level of heaven as long as you like. though the transmitted wisdom from on high, is that if you want to progress to higher levels, repeated incarnations are the quickest way to go about it, as hard as they can be. good/dirty deeds=karma. we incarnate much as actors take different roles throughout a career, sometimes as daughters/sons/fathers/mothers/uncles/aunts/etc.

The sitar player (and devout Hindu) Ravi Shankar was born with a mark on his neck which he attributed to his memories of being strangled to death in a past life.

To me it's a paradox. You do have another life but you don't. I believe that when you die you are immediately another fetus forming in another egg, be it a human, an animal or even an insect. BUT it's not exactly you. ''You'' will be another living creature, a different soul living inside a different body seeing the world with different eyes, etc. So technically it isn't you.

Ahh, too hard to explain!!

But I remember once somebody told me "what if your dreams are memories of your past lives, mixed up with your current life?" It made me think for a while, because I do sometimes dream of places I have never been to and people I have never met before...

But I like my theory better (post above this post).
