I think I'd be a mango. Colorful, tasty, versatile, but also difficult to work it, messy and slightly turpentine-y.

I would also be a Pineapple, because they are prickly on the outside and sweet, yet tart on the inside. Plus, they are a lot of work to get into. I am going to go cut up the pineapple I bought a couple of days ago. It is ready!

I think I'd be a pomegranate... they look easy enough to eat from the outside, but once you peel back the outer layers, man are they ever a pain in the arse!
