Men, especially men who are bigger than women, aren't supposed to hit women, even under provocation. Of course, they can defend themselves "defensively."

There's a good reason for this: men can almost always inflict much more damage upon a woman than vice versa.

If a woman has a weapon, though, I believe the man has the right to defend himself.

Women don't lift heavy weights at the gym anyhwere near as much as men and go on massive diets that causes them to be underweight. I think that's the only reason why they are weaker?

I mean if a 6ft1 216 pound man pushed a 140 pound 5ft8 man would the bouncers come rushing to the smaller mans defence? I don't think so.

It would depend upon who started the fight. But I believe some bouncers would defend the smaller man.

I just want a society where men are treated with the same level of respect as women are.

I will say though that last Friday I saw an argument between a man and a woman both in there late teens outside a club. When the man pushed the woman in the argument some bouncers came over and gave him a lecture about how wrong it is too push a woman.

A bit biased because she might have provoked him?

And even if she did provoke him it still was wrong of the guy to push her. Now if the girl had started physically assaulting the guy it would be a different story. But no you don't push/hit women over an argument...I can't believe you would even defend the guy pushing her.

Why don't you stop going to clubs? I mean what do you do show up and sit in the corner glaring?

Also sometimes guys make unwanted advances in club situations...so that is one reason why a woman may appear to get nasty towards a guy, like if he starts making her uncomfortable.

If a woman pushes a man no one cares right?

There are lots of women who know they can do anything including verbal and physical assault to a man in a club

When people hear the scuffle she knows everyone will jump on the man. The bouncer will and probably 2 or 3 other men who don't know the guy or girl. If you even argue back never mind hitting all those other men will deal with you. Sometimes called "white knighting" by angry anti-women kinds of men. Some women use this to abuse men. The same kind of women who will get drunk and mean in a club. Not all women but some. They are not all little flowers who need protecting.

My friend was a bouncer for a while. He told me that as a guy he just always grabbed the guy first because it's easier for him even if he could see the guy was not going anything. He knew if he breathed on a women wrong well he's not a cop and it's not wise to touch women unless you are also a women. Too many legal liabilities otherwise. And if the guy is not in the bar then the argument is also not there and that's the idea.

She's way less more likely to actually inflict any harm. If a woman pushes a man he's probably not going to even fall over.

The bouncers probably stepped in to stop things from escalating. I'm guessing he didn't hurt her with the push, but add alcohol into the mix and impaired judgement and it could have become worse if they just left it. They nipped it in the bud.

That's another reason to avoid clubs.

It's a shame people can't just go out and have fun. I love dancing, but don't want to get caught up in this kind of drama.

People suck.

Perhaps these white knights should stop and think for second how they would feel if they were jumped on by other men if they were on the receiving end of an abusive woman?

Not sure how you got that out of my post you quoted but ok...

But really you probably should not continue going to clubs, you are starting to seem like someone bouncers should keep their eye on, to make sure you don't go pushing or hitting any women you'd claim 'provoked' you to do it. Maybe you should focus on improving your attitude in life.

Its just basic logic, as generally men tend to be stronger/larger than women bouncers will focus their efforts on subduing the man rather than woman in that kind of situation. Not a vast anti-male conspiricy.

I mean sure if it was extremely obvious that the guy was the victim of abuse from a woman, like she just comes up and starts beating the sh*t out of him I could see the bouncers dealing with her first. But I don't think that is usually the case.

Alright I am going to challenge your claim that women are allowed to physically assault men at clubs, or harrass them with verbal abuse. I mean sure incidents happen I am sure, but you make it sound like its allowed, which I really doubt. Can you post any evidence that this is allowed at clubs?

Also I would think also really loud drunken arguments could also get men and women thrown out. Why would the club management want some nasty couple screaming at each other there to ruin everyone's time? Any club type place I have been to I get the impression that if you start being a belligerent and unpleasant then you risk getting kicked out regardless of what you have between your legs.

I heard about an incident in my local club where a guy was pushed by a woman because he accidentally bumped into her and the guy was asked to leave the nightclub by the owner

Precisely this, of course, I wouldn't know from experience since I don't go out at all.
Same here. I was just speculating based on no substance in the post.
