Fine, so houses being towed happens all the time. Pardon me for even bothering to post.

But are you talking HOUSE --- or double-wide mobile home being taken to a static trailer park community?

Because that picture just looks like a mobile home. I saw an actual HOUSE moved off its foundations. I saw it ONCE in a period of 19 years living in the same city.

I've only seen it a couple of times myself.

It's really a strange phenomenon to me.

I don't recall seeing it on a highway, though.

I'm sorry, but this literally brought tears to my eyes out of laughter.

I love deer, so don't judge me too much.

I think what people think they're seeing "all the time" are actually a form of trailer home, but ones that aren't meant to be "trailed" anywhere like behind a car. I knew someone who lived in one. It was the same size as a small house, had the same configuration inside, as opposed to a motorhome/campervan. But it could be moved to other trailer parks.

The house I saw was a regular wooden house with a porch, meant to stay in a neighborhood. Apparently this style of home only rested on its foundations rather than was built into the ground. They had loaded it onto a huge flatbed and were driving that down the road, very, very slowly.

As for that picture of the deer where someone tied that balloon to it -- I don't find that ONE BIT funny.

What kind of sick Fck would laugh at that? Tying a balloon with that message to a dead animal is just devoid of all respect, to me. It's not that the animal got hit on the road -- happens. But nobody needs to make fun of it. I don't care that the ANIMAL doesn't know. We see it, WE know, and it's just pathetic, childish and sick.

I'm not into people doing sick, stupid things to mock a dead creature or get humor out of it.

I've seen whole houses moved on the road before. There was some people that did it for a living in South Arkansas. The houses were older smaller ones and the roads are really straight down there.
What surprised me is somebody moved one to a small town here in the Ozarks, the roads are really narrow and lots of curves. Not a job I would want.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same----or, a modular home, or a tiny House:

I've only seen a "real" house goin'-down the highway, maybe, TWICE, in my WHOLE life, up HERE----down-home, I've seen it a couple of more times!!

This store in my county. The "Cider Barrel Store". An example of early postware "novelty architecture".

My dad said something today about moose being called "Newfoundland speed bumps". He told me this after I told him about the road sign I saw on Google that's somewhere in Canada where instead of the usual generic moose xing sign it showed a moose charging at a car and wrecking it.

I've heard that moose are animals you DON'T want to mess with, but I've never heard of these killer death moose where *you're* the one lucky to survive the collision instead.
