I feel there are a few posters here that when I interact with them it brings out dark humour in me - not sure if that is good or bad.

Uh, not sure I should respond to the original post at this point? Would I be intruding?

It is difficult to know whether we are intruding as most of the posts have been deleted. Confusing.

You would be not be intruding Day Ta Bee For , I have a hard time talking to some posters as I wrestle with with trying to be sympathetic and just having a laugh with them.

I'm not sure why Dragnet chose to edit his posts to 'null'

I'm not sure if it's depression , anxiety , the result of a breakdown or something else but I don't have a strong sense of self , maybe it's because I am in some sort of pre-assessment limbo ?

Yes it can definitely shake you up inside. It is a reaction and you are in some way keeping yourself safe.

I hope you are not having a breakdown, although what you are going through can cause a kind of separation inside until your self knows again what is happening - a bit like putting humpty dumpty together again. I think you are more likely injured at this point but then again only you can know how you feel.

Your identity has been seriously questioned and until you get your assessment result it will be very hard.

I'm not having a breakdown ( at least I don't think I am ) , I've had several and have all been identical. I've felt this way for years so it's nothing new to me , it just seems a little different this time as there is a chance I might get some answers whether I like it or not. As I'm writing this it seems like it might be just anxiety and overthinking everything.

Negative. It's not really caused by talking to people online in and of itself; it's caused by people saying far dumber and nastier things online than I hear offline.

On the other hand, people say more interesting things online than what I hear offline, so that's positive. Then again, I hardly ever hear anyone say anything offline because I'm rarely around people except for errands and appointments, so the bar for saying something more interesting than what I've heard is rather low.

I feel somewhat shielded from those sorts of effects on a forum, but when I talk to people in person or on the phone, definitely! I have a good friend who's a prankster. I'm serious most of the time, but somehow with him, I'm always cracking jokes in response to his. Most of my comebacks suck, but it doesn’t matter because we just goof on them and he’s totally accepting. And the ones that are funny are really funny and it makes it all worth it.

I think that's it , goofing off ! I'm not sure if it's due to the serious nature of this forum that I don't goof off ( that often ) but then after talking to someone it just brings it out of me and it just takes control and I usually go too far. I'm pretty sure goofing off is a coping mechanism for me.

Waiting for something to happen...

Protip - Nothing may happen lulz

I am sorry that I disruted your thread, would you like to ask a mod to clean up the first bit?

Though I am not good with authoritive figures,

Whats the worse that can happen? Star destroyers? Prison? Life of luxury beyond my wildest dreams? Bullet to the head?

Who cares, no one cares, I don't care.

Ferris, I know what you mean about being sympathetic and making jokes... That makes me anxious, to joke about the person's situation. Sometimes I do it anyway and it works out but it's tough for me.

Oh, I also feel calmer, more thoughtful, when I talk to people online. I have time to breathe and think things through, whereas when I talk to people verbally, it's so fast. I’m not complaining, I’m just saying it’s not a calming experience.

I don't see anything wrong with lightening the mood on here as it can get quite serious.
Especially when some of us may be feeling low or anxious already.
I look forward to some of the funny comments on here.

Am I funny or serious or am I funny because you can't tell if I am serious.

I might be, I might not, I am what they want me to be.

Lil people,

Why don't I just refer to everyone as lil people,

I am a lil person so I can logically conclude that we are all lil people.

Fed wannabe?

I actually do want to be feds, they are bloody awesome.

But apparently I am too evil to work for the gov cause I pirated Duke Nukem as a teen and inhaled marijuana even though apparently you can be the President of the United States with a past drug history. But yes please enlighten me in the ways of a dark jedi. I don't think team 2 would stress me out and in the event that s**t goes sour enough for team 2 to be losing there s**t, well then at that point, I probably have a right to freak out then.
