I don't care what people think and they can do whatever they like as long as it doesn't involve me. I agree though, games are meant to be played for fun, not looked at as some sport activity that helps improve your health overtime. Same with movies as well. And books... And comics... And anime... And TV... And the internet. Why live for labels too? Why not be yourself making your own decisions instead of trying to be a label?

I'm not some nerd, geek, or whatever it is, I'm ZZZtired.

Because the label comes with the hobbies. You can't be a professional basketball player and say "Okay but don't call me a basketball player" or a politician and say "I'm not a politician I'm just me." Jocks play sports nerds play video games and read comics and jerks tell nerds to stop playing video games and reading comics.
