^It is also bigger, but yeah it feels a bit sturdier as well. I think I might still try and fix the other one, but I will have to look into how to go about it. I wonder if they tested this one first, to make sure it didn't leak...so they didn't have to send a third one...

I would go with your original thought of super glue. It's non toxic (has been used to seal wounds for decades), cheap, and will do the job.

I have not been able to get any mead to try in it :( . However, today I got some Riesling I guess its wine made from a variety of grapes originally from Germany they had some from Germany at the store but there was a cheaper Australian one so I got that one. Anyways, it does remind me of mead in a way, its lightly carbonated and has a similar kind of sweet, floral flavor.

So I guess if you are in a pinch, where you want mead but you can't afford it or find it...I'd recommend a bottle of Riesling as a decent substitute.

That is what I was thinking, but my boyfriend wasn't sure it would be a good idea...not sure why exactly.

Is it anything like those Belgian style wit ales? Either way looks like it would be a good thing to try but don't think I have seen it before, in fact I don't think I have really ever seen Scandinavian beer, any idea where to get it? If not I suppose I could look it up and try to track down a location.

Well I shall have to bookmark that page for a later time...it would likely be an enjoyable activity to brew some mead.

I see it reasonably often up where I live. I'd say it's a bit lighter than anything Belgian but the spices feel similar.
