Yep. Were now more than just another big mammal species riding the planet. Were now a geologic force that helps shape the planet surface.
Right now we are hellbent on going into the crust and taking out all of the composted dinosaurs, ( and composted vegetation contemporary with the dinosaurs) out of the ground (ie coal and petroleum) and turning it all into plastic, and then ...redistributing the one time dinosaurs-now-plastic all over the surface of the earth.
Maybe in a few decades we will have a nuclear war and wipe ourselves out. And then the meerkats will rise up and take our place in the ecosystem. And 30 million years from now the descendents of the meerkats will have science and civilization and will do geology, and they will find a narrow band plastic in the rock strata and will be able to point to it and say "that's when man lived".
