That's kind of late to have your firstborn when you're female. It's a tremendous stress for the body. Biologically speaking, early 20's are the best years for a female to have children.

I am "older" and I don't want kids. Being in charge of someone else's bodily functions for 4 or 5 years? No sleep for a year or two? An 18 year commitment? Not a lot of "me" time. Not to mention a huge liability in this day and age? For what?

I would like kids someday. I just dunno if I can raise them to be emotionally healthy.

I answer 'no', and a strong one, because it wouldn't be fair to the child to have such an old mother 8O

no for two reasons:

1.com don't like the odds that they might have the same things i have. just doesn't seem fair to them.

2. don't think i could handle the stress and other stuff of being a father. i love kids and i think i am a good uncle, just don't think i would be a good father
