I've always really liked the Misfits, I can't believe nobody mentioned them. The Danzig era was fantastic (Static Age and 13 Hits from Hell are my favorites), the Danzig hardcore era was good, the Michale Graves era was kind of hit-and-miss. I love the stuff Michale writes, but I don't care for most of the stuff that Jerry and Doyle wrote. Michale's solo stuff is awesome. He does a lot of acoustic stuff, too.
The first four Ramones albums are classics. I really like End of the Century, but they did it with Phil Spector, so it's a lot less punk, and a lot more pop. IMO, after that, they only had maybe a handful of great songs per album.
I really like Alkaline Trio (until around 2003), my friend used to listen to them all the time. Some people find them to be a bit too poppy, but I dig it. Their EPs are probably my favorites, though a lot of songs from Maybe I'll Catch Fire get stuck in my head.
The "Cop Killer" album by Bodycount is great, if you don't mind vulgar lyrics. I thought the albums after that took themselves too seriously.
