There is no hurtful, selfish, hypocritical, deceptive, hubristic, or manipulative "neuro-typical" behaviour which autistic people (in general) are not also capable of.
A significant number of autistic people have a very loose definition of "neuro-typical" which approximates to "anyone who does anything that I don't like." (see previous observation.)
The everyday prejudice which autistic people face does not make them immune from being prejudiced against other minorities who find themselves in a similar position for different reasons, or even against other sections of the autistic community itself.
Preferring a particular computer game, fashion style, TV show, or flavour of ice-cream is not "an autistic thing".
I use the word "actually" far too much (and need to do something about these annoying parenthetical asides.)
I have, of course, benefited greatly from being a member of WP; I wouldn't stick around otherwise. It has helped me to understand innumerable aspects of my autistic traits (alexithymia, synaesthesia, and executive functioning, in particular), and there have been many "aha" moments where aspects of my thinking and explanations for past events have clicked into place thanks to what other members have shared. There have also been plenty of spraying-my-PC-with-coffee laughs too!
