Well...since I'll no longer have any need for them after I croak, it's not really a question I struggle with. Perhaps a nice big bonfire fueled with all my worldly possessions would be nice. I like that idea! People are always telling me to "get my s**t together." Why? Who needs a big pile of s**t? Well, now I'm thinking they may be right. If all my s**t is one big pile, nobody will have to gather it all up to set it ablaze.

I suppose it may seem selfish that I don't want anyone else to enjoy my s**t after I'm gone! f**k that! You've got your own s**t! This is my s**t! When I'm dead, I want all my s**t burned until it's nothing but a bunch of glowing embers. All my loved ones can watch the embers slowly go out. Hopefully, somebody will say, 'Well, he's gone now. And so is his all his s**t!"

Landfill. It’s just stuff. In my semi-nomadic experience, material possessions have been more of a burden than a blessing.

Not to mention, everything is going digital these days. Who's going to want a flash drive full of your old JPGs?

I think it was Bruce Willis who made a really good point: he was trying to figure out how to work his iTunes music collection into his will, so his son could inherit it...but Apple said that was against their terms.

This hasn’t really crossed my mind before. I love my Beanie Boos and can’t imagine them in a landfill. Maybe I can have them in heaven. Then there’s my writing. I’m not worried about the writing as much as I am my Beanie Boos.
