The olive oil isn't working ie no waxy gunk is coming out . My stepdaughter has to put it in my ear , and she's not here everyday. Perhaps that's the reason why,or perhaps not .

Maybe you need some earwax remover put in there.. My parents had to do that occasionally. My dad had his ear syringed 1ce to get wax out. I had a problem last year where something which was most likely a piece of qTip was stuck deep in my ear & made it hard for me to hear. The doctor had to flush my ear out.

My left ear made a funny noise about 15 minutes ago, and now my hearing in it is much better .
