First, their chemistry would be based on carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, sulfur. While their DNA would likely have a different "code", I would expect them to at least have something like it. I expect their skeletons to be on the inside, that they would have manipulative digits (not claws or tentacles), no more than the necessary locomotive limbs, a metabolic temperature between about 10°C and about 40°C, to inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, to need liquid water, and to have organs for vision, smell, taste, hearing and touch. Not necessarily humanoid, but not gelatinous blobs, giant insects, nor variations on the theme of "uplifted" terrestrial animals, either.

I think they would more likely be spiritual beings.

Why? Because of something you read in an old religious text or comic book?

Try a more reasoned approach: "What Would Aliens Really Look Like?" and "Alien Anatomy" (links).

I'm looking forward to one day (hopefully) having my own place to live, just me, my dog, and my crested gecko (and later, potentially one or two cats, a bearded dragon, and/or some fish, when I feel up to the added responsibility). A clean place (my parents are not the best housekeepers, and I'm tired of being surrounded by clutter and grime, and would much rather start with someplace clean and tidy than have to play major catch-up).

Next week I start a 1500 mile bicycle journey. I will take a tent and camping gear and visit some of my oldest friends who live approximately 500 miles South of the Arctic Circle.

Yes, but also a lonely one! I expect that interactions will be limited to buying food and the occasional text message.

I'm looking forward to opening this box of Thin Mints I found in the back of the freezer.
