now i absolutely must watch it.

the only time i ever saw it uncut, ironically, was on tv back in 1970 when it was shown on NBC. all subsequent releases i've seen, had the seen substantially trimmed and edited via optical printer to not show any of the spit they were swapping. it grossed hollywood itself out! that took some doing!
