I'm rather hoping the shorter pages don't come back. I don't like them on the ipad, let alone my computer (which I'm on more often).

Yes...the Quick Reply Box disappeared for me too.

Though even when it was on it did not appears on some subforums (like the Wrongplanet.net forum where we talk about the forum itself it didn't seem to appear).

It was always 15 posts per page.

I have no idea how many topic headings in the thread lists there used to be.
