same here (used to be scared of dolls, thinking they would come to life)


the eyes have definite emotion in them (like earnestness or appealing to you about something) i think.

same colours and eye shape, style of artistry and hair as the drawing of Anastasia (1997 film<< had to look that up)
except she has more worldliness about her (the drawing)--
this one gives the vibes of innocence/sweetness

i see..i've made quite a few dolls, statues and figurines, this one being just my latest and favorite and i was always sad that they would never be anything more than that, because for a long time i was very lonely and i wished they would come to life, so they could keep me company (this is the part where you laugh at me)

things are better now but i still "talk" to them, i even have a little bed and blanket (dishtowel) for this one and it makes my partner a wee bit uncomfortable :|

mebbe "uncomfortable" in the sense that she sees the doll as a type of psychic "competition"? that is not unknown.
