what those folks did was better. but they mixed his vocals too low for my taste. thankfully i have software now to fix that.

I was hoping this would be a discussion of a phantom snake-woman from Ancient Greece whose outer pair of wings have evolved into armour. Oh well.

On the subject of The Beatles- it's the sheer variety of their output that I love. There must be very few bands who even come close to their versatility.

"WERE not a boy band!" ;) just look at their recorded output, its quality and innovation, and the sheer number of charted songs in the top 40 they had - hell, not just songs but entire albums that were #1 for weeks.

All three of Laibach's fans posting in the same thread...what are the odds?

In fairness, the Beatles were a Boy Band ("Love Me Do"). They were also a Heavy Metal Band ("Helter Skelter"), an R & B band ("Twist and Shout"), a Country Western group, Pink Floyd ("Dear Prudence")...

Since we're ranging all over the place...what (if anything) do y'all think of Eliot Smith? People have raved to me about his (Late) Greatness, so I downloaded his Discography




So far it just seems like one murky Deathwish to my ears...like the Beatles need Prozac
