i take it you handle the heat without profuse perspiration and exhaustion then.

Ya that would generally be right.i can even wear a hoodie in the summer for hours.

you have good genes then. :star: since having heatstroke in the army [working in a 120F+ warehouse] i can't tolerate sustained temperatures above about 75.

well thank you.i guess its because my family has been working outdoors in hot climates for hundreds of years. And also i think it may be due to being on the spectrum on my case because my therapist says that my autism is the reason why I am so sensitive to the cold.I wish I had a super high cold tolerance but even San Antone/Austin is a tad too chilly for me in the winter time.I am sorry to hear about the heatstroke my friend.

I like daylight because I like going for walks and looking at stuff. But I prefer it being overcast and cool.

Due to my schedule walks don't usually start until after 5 pm. And I work the night shift. So I won't see much daylight for the next 6 months.

thank you amigo :) i was stationed [circa 1985] in ft. sam houston, in san antonio, a lovely [if hot] city. if i could have tolerated the heat i would have moved there. lovely riverwalk and jazzbands they got there. i do have decent cold tolerance, for many years i'd run outside in the wintertime wearing just shorts.

I like the kind of overcast where the sky is totally white and you can't see the sun. Like being under a canopy.

I first found WP because I was googling to find out if anyone else loved the end of daylight savings. (You'll see that I joined on 1st November -- my favourite time of year!) The only people I could find who agreed with me that dark is better, were autistic. It was one of my first clues about being autistic.

It is true that autism people only like the dark early?

I can’t stand it that they change the time. My biological clock takes forever to reset. About the time my body gets used to the new time, they change it again. I don’t care what time they pick, I just wish they’d pick one and quit changing it.

I love the sun and blue sky. I like rainy days too. When I was younger I loved the cold and snow. For me, I’ve been happier since I moved to a place where I can squander sunshine.

I’m like you, when my body gets used to the time, they change it. For me, there not enough time to do stuff like apartment work & other things on a do to list, I’m so slow at doing stuff. I love it better in the spring time when it gets dark after 6PM. I love fall & winter, I have Psoriasis, I can’t be in the sun too much. When I was younger, I loved the cold & snow. Me & my parents always take vacations on a ski resort 3 hours away where I live, I skied before, I kept falling on my butt, at least I fell down on snow. I also went horseback riding. I was in an avalanche too, I got to see a snowstorm. I built a snowman too, I was sick, my dad helped me.

The time change really throws me off both in the spring and the fall.

Spring is definitely worse than fall. I never want the time to change.

It gets dark so early. By 6 pm it is pitch dark and I feel like it is 9 pm.
