And people wonder why I'm always so negative. And then they wonder why there's suddenly a war crisis going on, as if they've been living in a beautiful utopian fantasy full of rainbows and unicorns.

There's nothing wrong with being negative, positive or any other mindset to a specific degree. We should be accepted and respected for who we are and all of that. I'm mostly somber and melancholy when I have a voice where I can reveal how I feel, as that's how I actually feel from my life and many memories (I tend to underestimate the reality of it all), and if people knew, they'd understand. I can be upbeat too as I still feel happiness and joy from life, and I"ll show that one when I feel it.

Yeah, people absorb the feelings of others due to empathy, but that'd be better redirected to helping those that are feeling down rather than blaming them for it (I'm sure many of us have experienced the 'Smile!' deal, as we wear a blank face).

The news is the original reality TV. There's a reason why so many psychopaths are drawn to media jobs. Many get excited over it all, and there's nothing wrong with that either, but I don't. I don't like excitement. Bad events don't bother me because that's just life (unless someone I care for might be caught up in it).

If people employed critical thinking skills rather than feelings to evaluate situations presented on the news, the media would have much less influence on the public.
It is the mindless uneducated masses who give them the power they have. 8)

Feel Think about that.
