That's the church giving into worldliness.
Rubbish - it's the church welcoming everyone as children of God, no exceptions. Just as Jesus did.

excellent series of images, Isabella!

That's absolutely correct. We love those who are strippers and those who are strip club patrons, and they are welcome to join us. But that doesn't that mean the church should then become like a strip club. We love Wiccans and they are welcome to join us, but that doesn't mean the church should start displaying Wiccan implements and banners with pentagrams to fit in with them or be more accepted by them.

Does this mean nothing to you, or do you have some tired old chestnut to "prove" that it doesn't apply to some people?
"And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love." Corinthians 13
We are to love the Lord our God with all of our heart, mind, strength and soul, and our neighbors as ourselves. But loving others doesn't mean encouraging or accommodating sin. Jesus certainly didn't do that. He loved the sinners around him enough to eat and drink with them and then die for them. But he also told them to stop sinning. No more lusting, fornication, getting drunk etc.

The Bible makes it clear that the practice of homosexuality is a sin. A true Christian doesn't practice sin.
It also condemns lots of other things, but there always seems to be a cop-out clause for
those and they're ignored.
They're not ignored by faithful Christians.

The Bible can be all things to all men - and that's the problem with it: it's a cherry-picker's paradise.
True, but there's a certain set of standards that are universal within the family of Christ that have been upheld for 2000 years.
