There isn't that much "special" about me----but, still......I would like to think that other people find me special, despite me not being all that "special." It's part and parcel of being a human being.

Even if it's "honest"----and I don't think it is "honest"-----so what????

I have been here for 18 years. I didn't get all those posts over night. I've joined WrongPlanet in the Summer of 2004 when it was just launched.

Yes well, I'm not that stupid to not have known that before you told me now. It says you joined in 2004, so from 2004 to 2022 is 18 years. I know simple math, no worries. I knew this before you told me.

There are users who joined 18 years ago and have only 5000 posts or so. So my point is you are very active compared to these users.

Forgive me, I gotta go. I wont be active around the forums in the next few days, kinda busy lately.

The whole reason that the OP started this tread is because he fears that folks dont want him here. And the reason he fears that is because he gets push back. But he gets pushback because he is so incredibly socially inept and obtuse. So much so that he stands out for that ...even on this website (which is a support site for folks who are socially inept and obtuse because they are autistic). Quite an achievement!

And the above exchange between him, Krafty, and CR, just shows that with textbook clarity.

So in conclusion: Yes Noamx, you obviously belong on this website precisely because you're so socially impaired, and need coaching. But dont expect a smooth ride all of the time here. But a site populated by majority NTs would have spat you out like a watermelon seed already long ago.

Not trying to beat up on you. Just stating the obvious.

Of course I have over 100,000 posts. What do you expect from someone with the word, Cockney in their username. There's a London side to me, too.

That sounds a lot like me during my 1st couple years on here I worded things the wrong way or posted things I should not of & some people misunderstood & put words in my mouth so to speak. I inadvertently upset a few(or more) members here at times. I've had much worse problems on NT forums thou which is why I stick around here. I'd like to think & hope I've learned, grew, & matured a little over my many years here instead of just getting older It takes time & we shouldn't be too hard on ourselves. What's important is that we keep trying to do better.


Some people are easily p!ssed off & it's impossible to please everyone all the time. Sometimes it's best to agree to disagree & try to move on & to ignore some negative replies.

I know what you mean about not replying. I sometimes don't have the focus or energy to respond to certain replies & PMs or I need time to think things over for a bit & then I forget about it.

Alex has been very uninvolved here for a long time but I think it's because of his priorities. This site is very low on his list. I think he really does have Aspergers but he's probably very high functioning compared to some of us(me anyways) & I think he was a CEO of some company/business but I may be wrong.

By "nothing special" I think he meant nothing weird or out the the ordinary compared to others he has encountered here. It wasn't intended as a snide remark or slight.

So I can recall having seen a handful of Israelis on this site but of course like most people they didn't remain active long if they were ever truly active to begin with. Israel is really small compared to most European countries and of course isn't English speaking. Compare to NZ which also has a small population but they speak English there.

This site is for people on the Autism spectrum. There is absolutely no question in my mind the OP is autistic. However I have come to believe there are inherent challenges in maintaining an on line Autistic Community and this thread may be an indication of that.
