That is so much the sort of thing I used to do.
Play pranks using radios.
Running AM on the 6 metre band seems to have a habit of getting into audio equipment.

I confess I lied to a WP stalker about where I live so he'd dox the wrong info.

I confess to having downloaded much-needed research material from an "ARRR!"-rated site on the Dark Web.

This was on 11-meters.  27.175 MHz, to be exact.  A quick burst, and "WOO-WOO-WOO-WOO-WOO!"

I confess to lying to my parents today when I asked them to watch my son so I could go to the store. I drove around and then went for a walk at a park while I listened to music. I needed to clear my head.

I confess that I know a person who attached a transmitter on 27.145MHz to a linear amp and used an electronic sequential tone device with it. This was in the evening during the 1991 sunspot cycle. I would guess many electric garage doors around the planet would have been opened. Good way to find out the skip is rolling in on 11 metres I suppose.

I confess I was too young to think up a plan like that but it's the sort of thing I would have done given the knowledge and opportunity. He still laughs about it 30 years later!

I confess to often having a snarky internal dialogue while maintaining a polite, external dialogue.

And people think I’m sweet.

In real life.

I’m usually very honest about what I’m thinking on here.

I think that's pretty common. ^

Most of the time I'm thinking how I'd describe the interaction if I were writing it in a book. I like adding all the asides and internal monologue. It highlights my rapier wit.

lol, me too, if that filter ever broke I'd be screwed, snarky internal dialogue keeps me sane.

Most of the people I know have views that are very, very different from my own. I think my snarkiness is a defense mechanism or something.

It also helped with boredom when I was stuck for days in JW conventions.

Y'all need to watch Ally McBeal. She's the queen of internal dialogue and fantasy response.

I once almost ran an innocent driver off the road in Boston when I was 19 and angry. An angry 19-year-old male on the spectrum can be very dangerous.

Have you seen these?
They're perfect examples of what people are thinking behind those smiles.
