Oh, yeah. Janis. My daughter, Aaron's mother did a great pastel portrait of Janis which is hanging in our hallway. We have a huge hallway or foyer where our piano is and we have the walls filled with our favorite musical artists. Layne is going to be hanging up their next. Also, I wrote a story in which "Piece of My Heart" figures prominently.

Beenthere - Very interesting story about your dad and the activity that followed his death. My dad died in 95 also. He was 83 and cooking his dinner, Italian sausage, with a cold beer on the table. He collapsed and when my nephew came home from work and found him the beer was still cold and the sausage was still cooking. He went that fast and evidently without suffering. Never seriously ill his entire life. I think he had AS. He was a clock maker and was always in the basement inventing things.
