Yes, too small. It was quite hard to click on it to get here.
As for leaving, why not just take an unannounced break and keep your account open in case you want to come back? Saves a bit of work and potential embarrassment over any U-turn.
Tell us more about why you feel you don't belong here.
I kinda get what you mean except for the U-turn part.
Well, if a person announces that they're quitting a group, goes away, and then comes back later, that can often be a bit embarrassing for them. It doesn't always happen, but I think it often does. For example, I remember one guy aired his views on a contentious thread, got a load of flak for his trouble, and therefore said he was leaving the thread. He came back, and one of his opponents took a swipe at him by saying something like "you said you'd left," clearly trying to increase any embarrassment he'd felt by highlighting his change of tactic and insinuating that the guy didn't know what he was doing and was therefore a silly person. Of course it's not evidence of stupidity to change one's mind, but it can look indecisive to many people, hence the potential embarrassment. Similarly, governments that suddenly reverse a flagship policy are usually accused by the opposition of being weak. It's all rather stupid and people shouldn't think that way, but they often do, and if one is aware of that, it can lead to embarrassment in a sensitive individual.
There's also a saying "never slam doors" that means it's better to go away quietly than to make any fuss about it, in case you have to come back later.
