To be honest my dad told me about it one time a long time ago, and I got the impression that it was closer to where I live than Charleston. What brought it up was that some land that my great aunt owned at the time was on a fault line.

I've got a bit of a survialist streak running through me. I dont have anything prepared though, but do plan on storing some essentials in my basement/bunker :D
Im going to get some gas masks, food and water down there. I've got an NBC suit already. Id like to se self sufficient one day too with growing vegetables, that way when the revolution comes and the markets all crash, Ill be ok.

Seriously, I tend to think a lot about what I'd do in a disaster... it's not so much having a bunch of useful stuff that's going to matter, IMO, it's knowing what to do and being able to keep your head together.

I just moved from the Gulf Coast to get away from the hurricanes. I am now in the middle of Tornado Alley.

I live in a zone at high risk for earthquakes and volcano eruptions - and one can trigger the other, too.
