I dyed my hair because I looked almost 10 years older than I really am (27, will be 28 in December). I wanted to pass as 22 or 23 so I could make more friends or find a mate. NTs are very image/status-conscious, and I try to go out of my way to impress them.

There are no Aspies in Wichita Falls, other than myself. As far as finding an Aspie female to date, there is only one within 200 miles of me, and it's the 18-year-old who made the false marriage proposal (some of you might remember the thread I made regarding this--it was back in February).

I once tried to dye my hair red - over blonde streaks.

My hair went bright pink - this was at least a decade before Pink became a pop star.

I was working in a private hospital at the time and was nervous about going to work with my bright pink hair.

All the little old ladies loved it! They wanted to know where they could get their hair dyed the same colour. Beats blue I suppose!

Now I regularly dye my hair - the colour is called Paprika.

When I hear "paprika", I think of the movie Bachelor Party, where Tom Hanks is trying to cook for his girlfriend. He says to the paprika shaker, "You've made me the happiest spice in the world".

On the topic of Steve Martin, my favorite movies with him are The Jerk, L.A. Story, and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

Watching the latter is an annual Thanksgiving tradition.

Here it would be Brisbane Broncos. I guess it ain't the Washington Redskins (I had a sweatshirt that had those colours, and they looked close enough to maroon and gold).

What about the Brisbane Lions?

.... and Tim Tex, my sister in law was completely grey by the time she was 30. On her it looked good.

Actually many women find a bit of grey attractive. So do it if it makes you feel good and your happy with it, but don't ever feel that turning grey is a bad thing.

I knew a girl who had grey hair just out of high school. At 40 I still only have a few strands of grey under the dye (I decided this was the year for something different  ) , I didn't notice my first grey hair until I hit 37.
