It seems odd to me that you seem to think that what the Bible calls "magic" is the same thing that is called "magic" in the Harry Potter books. I mean, despite being short the seven dwarfs in the Snow White story have nothing to do with real world dwarfs.

I just view all magic as sin since that is what the Bible says. I dont believe there is any kind of "white magic" that is not sin. I believe all magic is pure evil.

If we just talk about psychopaths, i like Dexter. He is a man who has a desire to murder people, but unlike other serial killers, putting it up to help the innocents, not to harm them.

If we talk about just evil people, i liked Wesker from RE (not a book or tv, but maybe will fit), but only before they completely rewrote his character in 5-th. His mastermind plans of being one step ahead of everyone were pretty cool.

As a Resident Evil fan myself I always found Wesker to be a rather overrated villain. But that's just my opinion.

I always felt that the real villain should have always been the Umbrella Corporation itself and that he would have been a mere cog in the machine just like Chief Irons, William and Annette Birkin, Nicholai, James Marcus, and Alfred and Alexia Ashford. But they had to screw that all up with RE4 and RE5 by killing the Umbrella corporation off and bringing in these organizations like Los Illuminados and Tricell plus others which most fans really didnt give a crap about.

Anywho I liked Ada Wong the most even though I guess she's not a true villain, but she certainly WORKS for the badguys though her actual loyalties are questionable. I like the fact that in the old games she recieved limited gameplay time and we were always left guessing what her true motives were. A classic femme fatale and an exotic Mata Hari-like spy to boot. 8)

Scrooge starts out being evil but he sweetens up in the end.

Ohhhhh lol I understand where you are coming from now (and I actually hate Christmas too btw). I thought you meant you preferred the old Scrooge because he was greedy and heartless. My bad.

"From TV/Books" - this is NOT - it is from films, but my slipper in is they have appeared on television.
George Harvey from Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones.
Mr. Baek from Park Chan-wook's Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
Max Cady from Cape Fear (I've only seen the 1962 and 1991 versions)

Television
Park Yeon-jin from the Korean drama The Glory

I wish there were more female evil characters from TV/novels, though.
Park Yeon-jin is female.
She has a clique of co-psycho/evil-paths, and two are also female, but she is the queen psychopath ("But she is so pretty and comes from wealth...")

Dr. Hannibal Lecter from Bryon Fuller's Hannibal

Books
I'm hard pressed to think of evil psychopaths except for...
Lord Voldermort from the Harry Potter series
Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

These are my favorite only in that I believe they come close to being evil.
In terms of those that are my favorite as in I like, Ko Mun-yeoung in It's Okay to Not Be Okay comes close but I cannot really call her a psychopath or evil.
and maybe
Jung Se-ok in Hyper Knife
She is a bit of a psychopath and dabbles in serial killing. Another female, Irulan.
