I prefer using baby wipes, esp since they are more hygenienic and clan this sensitive area much better.

That's what my husband uses, but I can't because I'm too senstive to the stuff they're soaked with. I'd use a bidet if I had one though.

I like the Charmin Ultra Soft (blue stripe on the package) its thick & soft so you use less.

That's my preferred brand of TP as well. :)

In Germany, the toilet paper is as rough as the paper towels in an American school bathroom.

I think Charmin has to be some of the worst TP there is. It's flimsy and your fingers go right through it.

The regular stuff IS worthless, but the Ultra Soft is awesome!

I don't know, ask the guy who did it. If he has a girlfriend then I give up on trying for good. It was several hours ago and I still haven't regained my appetite. :ninja:

I read that in the Ukraine, they use newspaper. Ee-yew!

That story about the guy pooping and not wiping is so gross. Sounds like my worst nightmare about public bathrooms.

I'm a folder.
I'm talking LOTS of folds until there's not much to hold onto anymore :P

Hey, what the heck... it's only my poop if it gets on my fingers, I'll clean it off.I work in a hospital laboratory and have to deal with all sorts of nasty body stuff for eight hours (actually not the whole eight hours, but one good smelly sample of something you wouldn't think could come out of a human body and it pretty much stays with me the whole shift  ).

I'm one of those who doesn't wash his hands every time if I don't touch anything other than the toilet paper and my body, with my hands (providing the tp doesn't rip... I would wash my hands if they got poop on them).

Rather than use a toilet and paper, I actually like going outdoors (like when I'm camping or on a survival trip) squatting low like Asian natives and using nice soft plants... lamb's ear, soft moss, etc.,, good stuff and antiseptic - some of it is anyway. :D

I hope you know how to spot poison ivy. :P

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! OH YEAH, I do! Actually we have Poison Oak here. I got to know poison ivy when I was stationed at Ft. Bragg, N.C. back in my army days. I was medic and we were in the field 'playing war' once. This one soldier comes to us with his face all swollen up, eyes just slits! He was breathing okay, just had this enormous face! 8O

We shot him up with benedryl and shipped him back to the post asap.

I don't have that much of a problem with it, but I DEFINITELY would not want to wipe with it... hot peppers are bad enough for me to eat, I wouldn't want poison oak down there! 8O

back in the "old days" people used to use the Sears Catalogue (anybody old enough to remember when Sears was primarily a mail-order business!?!?!)

I wonder if the stall that guy was in was out of paper. He could have gone to another restroom to get some TP and clean himself up properly.

I want to get one of those bidet attachments that fit a regular toilet, but i've never seen one for sale in stores. I'd probably hafta do some plumbing mod's to make it work to. When using a bidet however, how do you keep from soaking your cloths with your wet bum after you use it? I guess TP is still essential to dry things off after the bidet does all the "dirty work"

Every time I open this thread I misread my earlier post as "How can someone take a crap and NOT DIE?!?"
I love how confused my brain becomes when I stay up too late.

The reality is, not wiping is not going to be harmful except for socializing perhaps , as long as he cleaned up eventually that day.
Babies poop in their diapers and some of that stuff is pretty rank!
