Did You Ever Believe in Santa Claus?

Never belived in Santa, there is something else though that I did belive in once i saw one!

I was /raised/ as a Jehovah's Witness, so I was always the kid letting everyone know that Santa wasn't real.

"Okay Jenny, so when your tooth comes out DON'T TELL YOUR PARENTS, and put in under your pillow. See if you get any money in the morning. THAT'S how you'll know the tooth fairy isn't real."

1st grade. True story.

i did when i was a kid. theres nothing wrong with believing in him as an an adult though, personally i hope hes god. santa clause rules

I believed in Santa Clause as a kid, but at age 8 I think, somewhere around that, I thought of it as a fun fictional character like mickey mouse

Santa's probably an aspy. Going down chimneys seems like a very stimmy thing. He doesn't seem to want to be around people much, at least, when they're awake. He just hangs out with his wife, reindeer and elves. Definately aspy.

I never believed that Santa Claus was literally real, but I have loved indulging in the fantasy to a point. Especially catching "Mrs. Claus" (my mother) putting the presents under the tree and saying "Hohoho" when she saw me.

The same thing happened to me, when I was eight. I've read the tags on the presents, and I've matched Santa's writing to my mum's.

I believed in Santa Claus until I was 11. I would have still believed them if an NT didn't tell me other wise. I knew enough about science to realize that it couldn't have been possible, but I never tried to apply science to Santa Claus. I am certain that if I wasn't told that Santa Claus was real, I would still believe in him.

I totally believed in Santa Clause and the Easter bunny, and the ditz that I was believed alot longer than most kids. My parents should have told me earilier. It was fun while it lasted.My children always knew the truth, but they did like to pretend. So I'd wait 'till they were sleeping before I put the gifts out. Well tradition...sneak out to see the gifts before parents wake up......awe so nice. But my son was angry that he knew the truth, kept saying that there was a Santa, so I didn't argue.....Yet when we went to the mall both him and his sister would only sit on "Santa's" lap if they liked what he was giving out. Oh big pet peeve...parents who force their children to sit on "Santa's" lap are total idiots....I think they shouldn't be allowed to reproduce.

I was raised a jehova's witness in my early youth.
So when the santa claus period of the year came i was told by them he didn't excist.
I had to keep it a secret from the others.
I also got those days off because it was not a jehova's witness holiday.
They were proberbly more strict.

Didn't you ever see the film, "Miracle on 47th Street?" Santa lives in the hearts of everyone.

As for the tooth fairy...my little niece lost a tooth when she was four and told her parents, "I don't believe in the tooth fairy,
just give me the money."

I feel your pain.

No because if he is known to live at the North Pole, then all the people who desire power will find their way to his home and torture him to make him give up his travel and time secrets. My father cut me off when I tried to explain to him why I didn't believe the myth because he just wanted to know if I was foolish enough to believe. Kris Kringle may have at one time existed but he is probably imprisoned if he is still alive and parents buying for kids was a tradition created to mask the crime.
