What, you mean like some sort of popularity contest? On a site for people with AS? That would be... interesting. Somehow I don't want to believe it.

lol

No, it does not matter to me who writes the thread.

If it looks interesting, I will read it...if I have an opinion, I will post it. Very basic.

No, it's usually the topic I reply to not the person. It does definitely seem like there are some people who are popular, but that's probably just because they post a lot.

gismo,are you kidding man!
i love playing with you in the world of constant war thread!
you are popular & well known to me!

whenever i post anything i take my heart in my hands everytime
a lot of ppl are shy & don't like to stand out
i have been burnt

i almost never scan the forums or the threads
just log on to WP through my e-mail from the topics i am watching
posting a reply stresses
the complexity of expressing myself
& WP is a big pond,nowadays
i prefer a cosier nest

but most of the time
i get depressed that
every post pushs some other thread off a page
& the threads fall away into the past
that makes me guilty of murder
so,to post,or post not,what does it matter?

& then i remember that that is ridiculous
& were supposed to contribute
& support & defend & challenge & be ridiculous & serious & whatever

why did i post this :?:
it was luck.

My very first thread ever (the Yogurt! thing) was intended to die. I just wanted to see how things work on a forum, when out of the blue I get 40 freaking replies. We've even explored such topics as unpasteurized yogurt in Nepal, the quality of French cuisine and, of all things, Communist Yogurt.
Luckily, via the yogurt thread, I've identified and eliminated a very threatening spy who I'm sure has been tailing me for quite some time now, so at least it was worth something.
The point is, you can't be too sure of anything...

I click based on the subject line.

Exceptions:

-Now that I'm modding, I click even on things that don't interest me personally.

-I am more likely to check replies on a thread earlier than I otherwise would, if the last post is by someone I know.

And gismo, I think you're pretty well known 'round these parts.

For some reason I seem to be a thread killer.

You are a Mod now gwenevyn? Your 'moderator' staus thingy isn't appearing.

I'd like an official 'threadkiller' title, lol.

I post on anything that interests me.

And is it only selected people that can become mods or just people who spend most of their time on here?
